In Language arts we will be beginning are unit on poetry. We will be focusing on the different types of poetry and how poetry is “music” in words. Students will understand how poetry differs from any other type of writing. The focus will be to learn the key components needed for creating their own poems. The Culminating project will be a class poetry book.
In math we just began unit 5 about place value. The objective of this unit is to help students understand that depending on the place
Our Life science unit continues with the study of offspring or plants and animals. We will also be looking into Ecosystems (habitat) and how they affect what kind of plant and animals lives there.
